Man, I went to the GZA‘ show on Sep. 3 with my buddy Scooter at Emo’s in Austin. The show was pretty good and you can never be mad to hear GZA perform Liquid Swords. A local MC, Phranchyze, opened it up and repped Austin real well. Big Props to him and his boy, I didn’t get a chance to meet him though.
Killah Priest was next to take the stage. He did his thang and ripped the spot. A small stage, he used it all to his advantage and had the people geekin to see GZA. When GZA finally did pop on stage the crowd was ready and nearly everyone rapped each lyric of every bar for each Liquid Sword song he performed. Great show!
It got a little fuzzy with the fans when he started to do some cuts off his newest album “Pro Tools.” I guess it takes a while for some of that stuff to soak in.
After the show my buddy Scooter and I had shots of Patron with Killah Priest who we could tell had already had enough alcohol to power a top-fuel dragster. Big PROPS to Killah for being able to do a whole show on auto-pilot. I need to party with that dude more often.

It’s official, I still hate moving. I made the move from San Marcos to just outside San Antonio this weekend and it took all my strength not to say “Fuck It,” throw out all my shit and start over. Granted, some of it is just poor planning on my part. If I would have taken 2 weeks to move I’m sure it wouldn’t have been so stressful. But, that’s not really my style. I’m more of the cram everything into two days so that I hate my life and regret everything I’ve ever done up until this point, type of guy.

I took this picture with my phone at Lucy’s on Wednesday. Proof that hip hop packs a club unlike anything else in San Marcos. Being a small college town, no other place on the square jumps off like this. Check it out if you’re ever in town.

President Bush appears to be the victim of the liberal-biased media as the headlines question him for ignoring the Georgia / Russia conflict. Normally very quick to be outspoken and transparent on his foreign policy, Bush is forced to continue enjoying his Olympic trip without question.
This is a sad day when a sovereign country can be overrun by a foreign army and the international stage doesn’t seem to care. The worst part is that the U.S. has no moral high-ground on which to stand. It’s kinda like me telling others not to bully the kids on the short bus. I mean, they’re really here for my amusement anyway.

I don’t know what they’re putting in these things but a quick check of the calorie count in HEB’s potstickers shows that it represents about 2 weeks worth of food. On the plus side the relative fat content is pretty light, only 60 fat calories from the 24,015 total. Well done.
